SupPlant
SupPlant is a smart irrigation platform that uses real-time sensor data to help farmers make better decisions.
The system gathers environmental and plant data from the field, such as soil moisture, temperature, and humidity, and turns it into clear, actionable insights.
The challenge was to translate complex agronomic data into clear, actionable insights for field users working in non-office conditions. I designed intuitive dashboards, data visualizations, and alert systems, focusing on clarity, hierarchy, and accessibility across both mobile and desktop environments.
My role
I led the UI design for Supplant’s agriculture decision-support system, accompanying the product from its earliest concept to a fully functional, deployed platform.
Midway through the project, the company underwent a rebranding and introduced a new visual direction. I was responsible for the initial design language and UI and later returned to continue the project after a six-month break, during which a collegeue took over. Upon my return, I continues to integrate the new branding foundation into the existing product, refining and expanding the system’s interface while preserving its usability and coherence.
